How to close up to three apps at one time with multitasking in iOS 7

If your iPhone or iPad is running iOS 7, multitasking itself has gotten even better. Aside from live previews of what which app is running, it has also become faster and easier to hard quit apps. You can even close multiple apps at once!

Here’s how:

  1. From the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad, double tap the Home buttonin order to launch the multitasking tray.
  2. To close one card, you simply flip it upwards with one finger. Instead of doing that, position two or three fingers over different cards and flip up with each at the same time.

That’s all there is to it. If you’re attempting to close all your apps out to save battery life or make sure nothing is draining your battery in the background, this is a great way to do it. Instead of flicking individual apps, flick up multiple ones at once! Make sure you watch the video below too so you can see it in action!
